Sloppy in design, messy when handling, but the flavor is just too damn good! The 4 hour braised beef is so soft and tender while the juiciness of the meat lingers in your mouth as you continue munching on this sandwich. This is seriously one of the best sandwich I have tried at $14. It makes me wonder how much better would it be if I ate this at their outlet.

Hungry Bazterdz has added three (!) new sandwiches to their already ample array of sumptuous sandwiches, and the Master Panino is one third of the new trio. Also, they've upgraded their menu that's hanging on the wall, and it's now pretty much a (very) delicious scientific chart of what's in your sandwich.

The Master Panino comes with 3 protein options: beef, salmon and their excellent roasted chicken fillet which I went with for this round. As always, the roast chicken was spot on. Juicy, tender, succulent, thick and supremely savory, it was a joy to behold and of course, devour. The seductively stretchy slices of mozzarella cheese melted atop the chicken just added more fun to the enjoyment factor.

As for the sandwich itself, it tastes much like a meatball sub, sans meatballs but with earthy roasted mushrooms playing substitute. The red peppers were charred just right and were bursting with sweetness, while the tomato sauce slathered upon the thick cut white bread brought a little acidity to the affair.

The pesto spread on the other slice of thick cut toast was heavily herby, but unfortunately the oil had all soaked into the bread, making it soggy and a real challenge to eat. The arugula leaves brought a little pepperiness and crunch to the sandwich, rounding out this tastefully thick fiesta of flavors nicely.

I may need to retract my previous statement about the previous chicken sandwich I had, because Master Panino has mastered the intricacies of my tastebuds to become my new favorite chicken sandwich.

FINALLY tried even though it's opp my workplace why did I wait so long?! Good 'Ol Grilled cheese ($12) and we added roast beef which was flavourful and tender. Portion was pretty generous! Unlike PBD's (filled entirely w 3 types of cheese) which I swear by, this one is slightly less pricey, has red onions (didn't even mind them!), chunky mushrooms in it and is an even messier, wetter version. Liked that you can add meat to it. Nothing to shout about for the wholemeal bread but texture was on point, nicely toasted and doesn't take the attention away from the beauty of what's inside. Can't decide which I prefer but with more choices around I'm not complaining!

Truffle flying somen , I love this better than their salted yolk ramen . Plain ramen duping into truffle soba sauce , very chilling and yummy !

When you're in the mood for an indulgent lunch (and don't we all need those once in a while!), the newly-opened Black Cow at South Beach should be at the top of your list.
This "Foie Gras Bifuteki" is one of their premium lunch specials and I feel it is truly worth the $45++ price tag as they only use premium quality ingredients imported from Japan.
So what you get in the bowl is Hokkaido rice, over which lies a slab of Japanese Wagyu Beef Steak that's grilled to perfection and sliced for ease of eating. Alongside are seared cubes of the juiciest glazed foie gras. Together with the onsen egg, they form a dish that'll have you rolling your eyes in ecstasy.
I am sure comparisons to a similar (and slightly more expensive) lunch set at Fat Cow is inevitable. And having had the one there, I will say Black Cow's is a little more generous in terms of portion size - which is a big plus in itself.
Just so you know, the lunch set includes a fresh salad, a bowl of miso soup, mixed pickles and a big scoop of ice-cream (you get to choose between yuzu and matcha).
Thank you @burpple for inviting me along and @blackcowsg @samcchua for hosting us today.

We're all blown away by the Sukiyaki Rice, a completely original creation of Black Cow's. it is available for an extra $12++ when you order their Omi Shabu Shabu Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki Set ($130++).
Basically, they use the incredibly flavourful Sukiyaki sauce in which you have simmered all the ingredients, to cook a portion of Hokkaido rice and a sashimi-grade Japanese egg. Upon serving this bowl of goodness at the table, a generous amount of truffle is shaved over. The combination is insanely delicious!! 😋😋😋
Although this Sukiyaki Set is on their dinner menu, you can request for it if you're there for lunch.

Many thanks to @burpple for the invitation and @blackcowsg @samcchua for hosting us today.

Will request for more chilli and vinegar for next visit. Be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins!

Stall : Song Heng Fishball Minced Meat Noodle

I always tell them to omit the minced pork and they are so generous with the rest of the ingredients. Soup is flavoursome; fishballs are bouncy and springy. Fishcakes are a bomb. What's not to like?
