This is probably the fifth time cafehoppingsg is raving about Commune cafe, probably because they simply deserve the praise for their wonderfully crafted cakes, cookies and coffee. With extremely affordable prices, you should just try everything on display, and don't miss out on their Caramel Latte. Pop by for a break if you're at Millenia Walk!
7 of us shared the biggest portion available ($30). The salty Sio Bak complements the rich hokkien mee. Definitely worthy a revisit!
Ok, this straight up blew me away. Every part of this dessert was made in-house and each was done to absolute perfection, with thoughtful consideration given to how they were to be enjoyed together.
The ice-cream wasn't too sweet; thus pairing perfectly with the fluffy, sweeter pudding. What I thought was pure genius was the abundant topping of biscuit crumbs. Those bits absorbed the caramel sauce, and threw in a surprise crunchy element.

Incredibly spacious and conveniently located in Lasalle College of the Arts, this is a good spot for working in groups in a vibrant atmosphere. Great for grabbing wallet-friendly light bites for lunch or tea time, or evening drinks with a cold cider, you can come here anytime. They sometimes hold events and live performances here in the evenings, so do check out the schedule before you head down! Photo by Charlene Tan
Am one of those "rare" people, who love their steak rare and get extremely irritated when it comes out medium-rare or medium. But not here at District 10, rare comes out rare! Well seasoned on it's own with salt & pepper, no need for the sauce really. Price wise, I would say well worth the money.
Unlike most "yong tau foo", this is the unhealthy version. But it tastes good so some leeway is given. Every single piece that you pick from the display of fishballs, assorted beancurd, eggplant etc. (except for the leafy veg) gets a quick deep fry, creating a light crisp bite. After that, the items are chopped up before being covered in a slightly thick and savoury dark sauce. If you like some carb to complement, you can get small bowls of thick beehoon topped with the same sauce and bits of minced pork.
The most authentic fish & chips in Singapore. Prefer haddock over cod. Was feeling hungry and ordered a battered sausage as well.
