$6.50
That’s right. It’s called ugly. But it isn’t at all. Anyways the taste was mediocre, like something you can find from your local bakery downstairs.
$7.50
I was wondering how come a cup of mocha costs this much. But then it came in a deconstructed presentation. You pour the mocha into the glass yourself. It was served on this wooden block, so chic and hip.
Fun fact: No GST and service charge
$16.90
The price is a bit steep for a small portion in a cafe. But the taste was not bad. It had ham, mushrooms and diced bacon as well.
Break that egg yolk! Yummy...
3 flavours for $5.90
I don’t really like mochi but the ones filled with ice cream tastes surprisingly good.
Chosen flavours are lychee, melon and Korean banana milk.
Tokyo dragon (on the left): sweet and spicy
Buffalo bliss (on the right): sour and spicy
I also ordered dry rubbed flavoured wedges 👍🏼

Topped with oreo crumbs and a flower (non edible)
It is quite expensive but that is cafe food for you. It tastes good. I like the texture of the cheesecake, it’s creamy as it is non baked. But I couldn’t taste the cookie butter.
Fun fact: No GST and service charge
Pasta: $14.90
Drink: $4.90
The food was served in a jar, plus points for creative presentation.
It is not a recommended item on the menu but it tasted good!

It says it all. This is their #1 burger.
Angus beef, smoked bacon, caramelised onions, arugula and thousand island sauce.
The meat was cooked well.
It’s so delicious with oil dripping down your lips and hands as you hold the burger.
I paired it with a chocolate milkshake. But it would be better with a beer or wine. Because this will fill you up.
$18++
Only valid till 30 November!
The meat was cooked well.
The mac and cheese FRIED as the bun of the burger.
It’s so delicious and filling.
I paired it with a strawberry milkshake (which was a mistake and not) because I could barely finish both. Haha.
Topped with chocolate sauce and salted caramel ice cream
Waffle: $7.50
1 scoop: $4
I’m so obsessed with charcoal waffle. It’s so moist compared to regular waffle.
Come by and try their waffle. They even have chocolate chip waffle and various ice cream flavours.
$16 and only available on weekends.
SO RICH!
Soft and toasted bun with scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms with chorizo patty and they give you nacho cheese at the side to drizzle over your burger or the tater tots.
The burger is quite small if you are big eater. It took less than 20 bites to finish it off. But this burger is about quality rather than quantity.
This place is nearby Sembawang Shopping Centre and the famous seafood white bee hoon.
Smoked salmon on brioche with avocado, sous vide egg, Greek yogurt and feta chunks. Served with citrusy kale and spinach salad.
Usually, I don’t like avocado but this is delicious. Good combination with the smokiness of the salmon and the buttery taste of the toast.
The ambience at Thus Coffee is calming, the deco is minimalist with a hint of colourful and bright coloured flowers. At 1pm, there are still ample seats. It is close by Thomson Plaza and Casuarina Curry. Though it is not here any train station, you still can get here conveniently by bus or taxi. There’s even ERP parking nearby.
Recommended for everyday brunch except Mondays (they are closed).
