However the cook on the squid is excellent, definitely not your normal hawker fare. The pork belly was superb as well, very flavourful and tender without being greasy Veggies were decent. Curry was quite mild For restaurant level food at hawker-ish prices, I think that's the reason why people are queueing

Curry Rice A simple stall serving curry rice with a good range of variety like fish, chicken, pork and vegetables. Each serving of curry rice is doused with a trio of sauces - signature ayam curry, lor bak sauce and chap chye gravy. There’s even assam curry for those who wish for something spicier. The curry is mildly spicy, thick and gooey but not overly cloying. It is good enough to have it with plain rice. Add on your choice of ingredients and make it a glorious and satisfying mess for the belly.

Finally gotten the time to try Loo’s Hainanese Curry Rice after they have relocated to Tiong Bahru Food Centre, and dare I say, it’s truly the benchmark of what a good Hainanese curry rice should be. My usual order combination of pork chop, braised cabbage and fried egg came up to $4.20 today, which is still very affordable in our current economic climate. Curry rice is one of the ultimate comfort foods in Singapore and the curry drench on everything on this plate just made it so much better. Xiao Long Bao Thin skin with overflowing soup spilling out of the bao, tasty and best eaten when served The Xiao Long Baos seem slightly smaller in size as compared to the average Xiao Long Baos but quality triumphs quantity Went around 7pm on a weekday and managed to get the Xiao Long Baos - $5 for 6 pieces, they were out of most items and were preparing for closing.

Supreme Indeed 😍 Located in a humble stall in Holland Drive, is Supreme Xiao Long Bao, that serves up pretty authentic Chinese dishes. The zhajiangmian, or black bean noodles ($3.50) may come in a relatively small portion, but the quality is really good. The noodles are firm and chewy, and the sauce has that salty umami kick that makes the noodles really addictive. The xiao long bao ($4.50 for 6) is pretty good as well. The fried dumplings ($4 for 8) is really satisfying as well, as it is pretty filled with loads of ingredients and has the crust I was looking for. Definitely a good find!
