Red Moruno Prawn Tartare The first dish, an amuse bouche course, was the Red Moruno Prawn Tartare consisting of red moruno prawns, served with a calamansi-mint sorbet, avocado, wild salmon roe and micro greens.The calamansi sorbet added a nice acidity to the dish, with the mint brightening it up. The dollops of salmon roe also added a nice briny umami burst, with the creamy avocado cutting the sharpness. Spoonful Of Happiness Chocoholic (RM35). White chocolate creme brûlée, speculoos, milk chocolate banana mousse, tonka bean ice cream and warm dark chocolate espuma. I love the addition of pop rocks in the chocolate espuma, leaving a fun tingling sensation in the mouth.

All About Berries (RM30) A beautiful dish with so many different elements. Blackcurrent parfait, raspberry mousse, mix berry sphere, strawberry mint sorbet, rose gel and chocolate soil. Wouldn't mind having this again.

Ravioli del Pastore Ravioli, another rare finds in Italian restaurants in KL. Which means, I need to try it. Stuffed with eggplant and ricotta cheese, it was just delicious! This is RM63. A pain to my pocket since there isn’t much of it.

Parmagiana di Zucchine Layers of zucchini, mozzarella and parmesan. Nicely baked. Every bite was delicious. This is RM33.

Linguine Alle Cozze Just like your Spaghetti alle Vongole, Linguine alle Cozze uses mussels instead of clams. It is sautéed in a light sauce made of garlic, chilli, cherry tomatoes, freshly shucked mussels, finished with Colatura, a South Italian anchovy oil which makes the whole plate so flavoursome. I wished there was more wine in it. RM67 per serving.

Assam Unagi Nori Sushi Rice Beautifully renovated old shop-lot in Jalan Petaling. You could easily get a parking here because there’s 2 parking lot nearby in walking distance. Dinner starts at 5pm onward. Love the chili crab fettuccine and Something Fried dessert.

For Spanish Yakitori in the City ICYMI: This Spanish yakitori bar has moved to a bigger location along Jalan Mesui, bringing with them the same delicious meats from the grill. Burppler Foodgazer attests they only use high-quality ingredients, so rest assured the meal is going to satisfy. Order the Chicken Skin (RM7), Iberico Pork Belly (RM12) and the Spanish Chistorra Chorizo (RM10). On seafood, the Spanish Octopus (RM22) is outstanding — smoky on the outside while tender.
