There are three exclusive dishes to Ka-Soh at Greenwood Avenue â Prawn Noodle Soup ($16), Seafood KL Hokkien Mee ($9, $14), and Oatmeal Pork ($19, $29). While the Prawn Noodle Soup ($16) seemed to be pricey, the generous portion with many slices of fresh snakehead fish and three tiger prawns made it looked all worthwhile.
The base was milky and mild, closer to flavours of fish noodle soup rather than prawn stock which would be sweeter.

One thing to note is that while Singaporeans are used to bowls with loads of meat with less rice; the reverse seems to apply to many Lu Rou Fan stalls in Taiwan where there is very little meat in contrast to rice.
While most places claim to be âauthenticâ, every store really presents quite a different take.
Here are 10 places you can head to in Singapore for your Lu Rou Fan cravings:

Established by a food-travel-loving couple, LĂš Fusion was inspired by their travels around the world, fusing all of their faves under one roof.
The pork belly is slow-roasted for a number of hours, resulting in a skin with a crunch, which contrasts beautifully with the fluffy bun.
The mayo-based dressing is mixed with in-house pickled veggies and crushed peanuts. One of my personal favourites from LĂš Fusion.
Get 50% OFF Crispy Pork Belly Mantou when you dine at LĂš Fusion till 12 April 2020.

At the new Kra Pow at Chinatown Point.
Kra Powâs Slow Braised Pork Meat Cuts on Rice ($9.50 nett) with that ter-kah meat falling easily off, melt-in-the-mouth fats, and unravelling collagen also makes this a worthy-dish to have.
The addition of both pickled and green vegetables (which helps cut through the greasiness) and half an egg, garlic and chillies helped make this a complete dish as well.
Whatâs your favourite Thai eatery in Singapore? Cos I do few some are quite... well overrated 55555
