The pasta is well coated with the red sauce and is generous with the ingredients which consist of mussel, squid, clam and prawn. WB prefer a non pasta dish hence he had the wagyu burger. There is a choice of doneness for the beef patty and he prefers medium well. The beef patty is juicy and bread is toasted well. Excellent Pasta Dishes Pasta dishes done well. Enjoyed the crabmeat tomato pasta and the vongole. Very worthwhile with the 1 for 1 deal.

Channa Masala The chickpeas was flavourful but sauce was too buttery for me (if u like butter, can go for it). Portion was good. For the beyond voucher, they will only take the lowest 2 dishes (including sides) hence we did not get 1 for 1 for our mains.

Maple Pecan Tart ($9) I managed to try their signature tart for a long time. But I personally felt that the tart was slightly dry tbh. Need to pair cake with coffee or tea if not you felt jelak a bit.

Matcha Red Bean Cake Pumpkin Latte ($8) (not in pic) smooth and also quite thick creamy drink tbh but then I felt that it's too much for me tbh. remind me of pumpkin spice latte for starbucks so it's kinda similar taste. Matcha Red Bean ($7) it's creamy and milky taste for cake but then red bean filling was quite sweet and savoury.

Bad Pancakes salmon ahumado pancakes were dry and not fluffy. weird corn inside too. the mariscos marinara galettes was so drenched with a very salty sauce over a barely visible crust which became a soggy mess to even pick up and eat with hands or cutlery.. not going to eat here again..

Exclusions Not Clearly Communicated, Meh Food Quality, Poor Customer Service As the subject suggests, this is my 2nd visit after 3 years and I’m reminded why I haven’t patronised since. Waiter at the entrance has no idea what burpple is and the way he replied wasn’t helpful. After placing my order with another waiter, he came back after 5 minutes saying baked pasta wasn’t included + dozen more choices were not included. (He came back to take my order again - told me to be faster after 1-2 min because he has a lot of things to tend to - yes his words) Fine print only stated sharing platter as exclusion. The place was almost filled so that explains the long wait time but the food were definitely below normal standard. Thanks burpple, I’m never coming back and saving my $15.90 that I’d spend happily at MacDonald’s.

Paneer tikka masala ($17) 🍛 4/5 I couldn't get over how rich and smokey the tikka masala was and kept smothering my naan with it. The firm texture of the paneer actually simulated meat quite well if you're missing it.

Aloo Gobi ($15) 🍛 3/5 The cauliflower here was beautifully charred, which lent a smokey texture to the sauce.

Paneer Butter Masala This was amazing paired with some naan. Wiped the bowl clean with what’s left of our naan

Homemade Burrata Pizza - $24++ Very homely and fresh pizza with Tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil, garlic and burrata! They are running great discounts currently on eatigo. Makes it even more worth it.

Consistently great If you’re looking for somewhere different that delivers consistently well executed food then Erwin’s is a great place, especially at weekends when it’s a little quieter and you can take a stroll around the bay afterwards. The fish was chunky and really moist but with a crisp and lightly seasoned batter, accompanied by an upgrade to sweet potato fries. It’s a pub with a proper chef, what’s not to like!

1 For 1 Pasta using Burpple Beyond Ordered a vongole pasta and pork cheek ragu pasta. The vongole was very dry and bland. One of the worst pastas I’ve ever had. Pork cheek ragu was okay but the pasta texture was weird.. Will not recommend and will not come back again.

ridiculous customer service went there on a tuesday afternoon, 2 pax, both students. showed them the page of the burpple 141 all day buffet before entering and the cashier said can use on that day. after finishing the meal, they charged me wknd adult prices for the 141! even though we were both students, and we went on a weekday lunch … charged me 30.80 for 2 pax when if without the deal, i would have paid 35.40 for 2 pax student lunch anyways. absolute clickbait when didnt even specify in t&cs of the deal itself, only told us after we finished the meal. dont ever go there what a misleading advertisement to attract customers.

Korean Tteokbokki Hotpot Buffet 4⭐️/5 (Applicable for burpple 30%) [Dinner buffet $19.90 + cheese ring $9.90 before GST] Pretty unique buffet with lots of variety like the tteokbokki, deep fried dishes and fish cake stewer. Ordered the classic soup which is sweet, flavourful and not spicy. The cheese ring contains sweet corn which I think should be left out, haha. Finishing the hotpot, there is an option to fry the rice with the left over soup base but I think the fried rice was a meh.

W Acai Tried the Iron Man Acai and Cookie Monster Acai. Not too bad, staff was nice. Sad that coffee wasn't available because the staff did not know how to make it. Otherwise pleasant experience

Refreshing Snack Unobtrusively housed within a digital hardware shop, we almost couldn’t find the place at first. Burpple deals here allow choice of different acai bowl sizes which is great if you only want a light snack. Acai was rather bland imo tho toppings were quite generous. We had the Supermodel and Cookie Monster and Mochas (a lil too sweet as a spoonful of sugar was also added in by the barista). Service was good; barista was friendly and took the time to explain his recommendations to us.

it’s okay… burgers were alright and a little small tbh. i was also given the wrong sauce :( from left to right: Alpha ($13.90), Original Wolf ($9.90), Timberwulf ($7.90). sides were not bad tho!! the fries ($4.50) were damn good super crispy but v oily and jelak. seaweed butter corn ($2.90) literally tastes like it sounds.

Timberwulf ($8.90) A classic fried chicken thigh, topped with cheddar cheese, coleslaw, honey mustard mayo in a brioche bun. I would’ve actually said that this is a quite a delicious chicken burger BUT the fried chicken thigh was small - significantly smaller than the brioche bun itself. That’s such a huge disappointment for a burger! I personally also would’ve liked it more if the chicken thigh was slightly oilier so that it would be much tastier. I think overall it’s still a pretty nice chicken burger, and definitely a great pick for the price point after the 25% off Burpple Beyond discount. It was worth a try seeing that the place was fairly talked about for a period of time - but I doubt I would be back, unless either the quality and taste of food steps up or the price goes down. I find that it’s stuck in a vague middle ground where I’d rather go for something cheaper or something tastier. Especially being in a competitive mall like Funan where there are so many other food options! We visited on a weekend evening and there were many seats available. The ambience is very much like your usual fast food chain.

Original Wolf ($9.90) Quite a standard burger, overall I would say it’s slightly above average in taste but definitely a great pick for the price point after the 25% off Burpple Beyond discount. The ground beef patty was actually a good balance of oily/tasty and dry/healthy, if you get what I mean. It definitely wasn’t oozing and dripping, but it wasn’t dead dry and tough either. Complementing it was the shop’s secret Wolf sauce (every burger shop seems to always have their own secret sauce), cheddar, sautéed onions, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. All of this goodness packed between two sesame seed brioche buns.
