Laksa no.6 (Large - $8)

There are 6 laksa selection (different ingredients) and comes with 3 different portion size. The laska gravy was not too thick and not very spicy so it is suitable for everyone.
Nothing beats that generous amount of tau pok which were well soaked in the gravy !!

Premium beef noodles bowl ($8.8)

A big bowl of flavourful brooth topped with succulent beef.
Compare to another beef noodles restaurant, their flat noodles were alot chewy! Yum!

Truffles Scrambled egg with Brioche ($13.90)

Lovely buttered Brioche toasted until it was crispy.
Truffles aroma was really strong however their scrambled egg was average... not those creamy/cheesy kind even though there was cheese.

Overall a satisfying and value meal with Burpple 1 for 1 !!

Herbal Premium pork rib for 2 pax ($29.90)
add on: VSOP ($3.90)

To avoid long Q, we went there at 6pm and it was FULL HOUSE by the time we finsihed our dinner.

The claypot was filled with generous ingredients (mushroom, pork belly, pork rib) and the best thing is the soup (one huge bowl) is refillable. The herbal aroma and taste was really strong however, it will be better if the you tiao are served warm and crispy.

Service: Crews are really attentive and responsive!

XW Signature Wanton noodle soup ($10.90)
Waiting time during dinner hour: >30min

The taste and smell of the egg/ yellow noodles was too strong. Although their dumplings were huge filled with chewy prawn but we're quite tasteless.
What was good ? Their sambal chilli sauce!

Fish and Chips ($13.50)
Was quite surprised that CBTL do serve good fish and chips with refreshing salad as the side.

Carrot Cake (IDR 35k)
Slight expensive for a thin slight of carrot cake. Smooth cream cheese in between the brownie-ish cake. Texture of the cake was good... not too moist and not too dry. However lack of taste.

The peaceful ambience while waiting for the sunset made it up.

A wide range of selection to spoil your tastebud (bakes, egg, meat, milk, sweet, green...).

The portion for 3 Dishes is just nice for one. The breads were well toasted and smoothie bowl was not bad. However, the scrambled eggs is more like fried eggs and it was quite salty.
Oh! They served nice cuppa !!!

Sunrise smoothie bowl (IDR 60K)
The base was made from mango, pineapple and passion fruit but overall was not too sweet.
A refreshing smoothie bowl is a need during a hot day is a must!

Soy Matcha Latte (IDR 28k)
Chanced upon this coffee stand otw to Porkstar for dinner.
Was amazed by how thick the matcha taste of this drink even though it was in syrup form.
Yum!

Essential Nasi Goreng (IDR 90k)
Tasty and appealing dish. The texture of the squid was chewy! It would be even better if the portion was not that little.

Service was great as the staff were attentive. The cafe has nice ambience with different interior designed environment and besides food, the cafe sell essential oil and face mist too! An interesting cafe focus alot on healthy diet.

Maguro Tataki Don ($15)
served with warm rice and lightly seared tuna. The portion was just nice.

Best of all, there is no GST/service charges!
