So decided to visit this very new cafe with a friends after work as it was super close to my workplace. Had the waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream as that is there speciality. Very nice and friendly staff who recommended us some flavours and even bothered to let us try out every single flavor! 😁 So thumbs up to good service! We had the affrogato and boysenberry as I like something less sweet and my friend was the one with a sweet tooth. The waffle had a really nice and fluffy texture and the ice cream was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the afrogato flavour! 😋😋😋 The latte that I also had was nothing spectacular but alright. Since its new, there wasnt much if a crowd so I loved the overall quietness of the cafe. Thumbs up!
Sliced beef phone. Medium rare. This place is pretty decent photo. The soup is slightly on the salty side but still acceptable. Portion just right for me.
This place is heaven when it isn't crowded.
Some say this is THE BEST dessert around. Sounds delish but I felt that there is still room for improvement. A little too sweet and could be a lil more chilled when served. Also, I like my tiramisus less mushy. Well, but that's my opinion.
Still my favourite place to just chill out with friends over a fantastic cup of cafe latte and some mind-blowing French toast.
I initially found it a lil strange because I usually have normal fries with truffle oil. But the taste grows on you. The sweet potato fries were really good! Still, I prefer regular fries with truffle oil.
This is THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER TASTES IN MY LIFE. It may not look like much, but trust me. I am not one to fall in love with food but this is THE ONE. ❤ Warm and moist sticky date pudding. Drizzled with warm caramel. Lightly salted. With butter cookie crumbs. Topped off with a single scoop of caramel ice cream. My taste buds just died and went to heaven. Thumbs up to Slake for this wonderful dessert. 💪👍
Slake is a nice chill out spot for those who want to satisfy their taste buds. Today we had to crackly pork which wasnt too bad but I felt it wasn't fantastic. The meat was a little dry but the sauces on the side was a rather interesting mix of mustard and wasabi together with some chickpea paste. Can't wait to try out their other dishes!
Mod-Asia Cafe-Bar features reasonably-priced fusion food. It was my first time trying out Asian fusion food and its pretty good I must say! 😋 We bought a deal and had 8 different courses. Each course captured the taste of a main dish. 🍲 Great service as well! Be sure to check them out!
Had ourselves the green tea brioche, squid ink bun and coconut cinnamon roll. Much to my disappointment, the green tea brioche was really not to my liking at all. The squid ink bun was scrumptious! Filled with smoked salmon, drizzled with truffle oil and topped off with rocket salad. Mmmmmm. The cinnamon roll was amazing too. Couldn't taste any coconut flavor but it scrumptious. The texture was just right. Cripsy and sweet on the outside, moist and sweet on the inside.
I've always been a big fan of Matcha. I absolutely adore it. So when Tsuijiri made its appearance I was like 😍. Decided on something was today so I had myself the Matcha Latte which was one of the fewer hot items on the menu. Well, I was slightly disappointed. 😔 I felt the latte was smooth enough had somehow didnt have that "oomph" matcha flavor. It smelled great but was lacking in the taste somehow. But then again, 1st time trying, maybe just wasnt made right this one time.
