Is it me or I last remembered it being $2.
I mean itâs still good. But check out that 200% inflation! đ
Bread was also a tad crumbly. It was also a lot more saucy + cheesy in my memory!

First of all, I have to say, PV has managed a great cupcake batter technique. Their bakes are consistently dense, with mini porous pockets and soft yet importantly, not dried out all at once.
I like it!
Could have been a tad heavier on the earl grey flavour AND maybe a bergamot/citrus based cream cheese would go well.
Because itâs honestly mainly plain sugars Iâm tasting in terms of the flavour profile presented.

Brinjal
Bitter gourd
Salted Egg chicken
Nothing stellar tasting here. My fav was the freshness of the bitter gourd that stood out some.
But at this price, + the salted Egg was like a mushy batter mess.. haha where is the chicken??
I wouldnât recommend Cai fan from this food court.

This is only $2 and I get a nicely brewed sweet concoction of all these textures!
The tender sago, juicy longan, crunchy sea coconut, chewy fungus, mushy ginko
Yum yum.
The red date and brown sugar base is so yummy an afternoon refreshment!

With any 3 dishes!
I had a crave for veggies so I picked curry veggies, bean sprouts and 1 pig liver dish.
Well itâs only $2.. I came pretty late (3.30pm) and this was what I could find. Had no complains besides the fact that the meat has soured some.. haha.
Yet at this price point, Iâm sort of âanything goesâ cannot believe this pricing exists in Singapore!
Not rating! It was beyond the stars at budget but beyond my tastebuds for enjoyment either!
Weâre talking about some tender beef, al dente greens and a just-right portion of smokey tasting hor fun.
In 1 brown wokhei pepper gravy đ
Canât forget a memorable briny Spicy sambal
8/10! So satisfying a slurp worthy bowl
Part of the Sanshoku Setâ this is the Aburi Salmon bowl!
Everyone loves a good Aburi. im not an exception :)
But the faint fishy smell for this one did shed some hesitation over this dish.
+ I do still prefer sushi vinegary rice as mentioned.
5/10
That said, thank you Teppei for the thick cut of salmon. Def go heavy(ier) on the Aburi please!
Part of the Sanshoku Setâ this is the Bara Chirashi bowl!
I wish that smidge of fresh wasabi wouldâve been bigger, along with the entire bowl of sashimi:) haha
+ that hot plain jap rice was used rather than vinegary sushi rice, would be my other quirk
6/10
Part of the Sanshoku Setâ this is the Negitoro bowl!
Smooth, sticky fresh dollop of minced tuna with crunchy tempura bits đ YUM YUM.
Tempura bits wouldâve been more enjoyable if it was crispier but itâs a nice textural foil nonetheless. With that fresh wasabi

Itâs my first time seeing a juicy kueh dah dah. Do you see that fat drop on the glass?
It was flatly sweet encased in a sticky crepe that had no bite :/
4/10
I love evaporated milk.
So I had no qualms with this cup of: shot of espresso + full mug of (seemingly buttery) evaporated milk.
But this milky palate leaning is highly a personal preference.
7/10 (for me)
