I think I should make pancakes this weekend.
The portions were just nice too! Sadly, they don't deliver to Raffles Place daily but I hope they do soon!
It's tucked away in a stretch near the central business district of Sathorn.
I ordered the Roast Pork Loin with Dill Pickles on Rye Bread. It wasn't fantastic per se, but the construction of the dish was done well. Each element worked perfectly with each other. I loved the fact they used Rye bread because it isn't a very widely used carb base in most of the cafes I've visited. The dense bread paired particularly well with the dill pickles. I recommend adding in a side of omelette to substantiate your meal.
The menu is rather pricey in comparison with many cafes in Bangkok. However, the quality of the food justifies the money you pay.
A squeeze of lime makes it so much better. Also if anyone knows what that herb is let me know.
Also tried Gordon Ramsay's scrambled egg recipe and it was so custardy and delicious.
Had this wonderful spicy soup at Ratacha Train Market that's filled with delicious seafood.
Apart from this, I also had the Pla Pao (ปลาเผา), which is a Charcoal Grilled Salt-Crusted Red Tilapia. Although the skin was rubbery and inedible, the flesh is juicy and almost melt in your mouth. Simply just amazing. I would definitely recommend the fish.
To start today off, we went to a hipster 到连蚊子都会狠狠攻击的一个地方. Ordered a Blue Cheese Spaghetti with Bacon for lunch. I loved how the smokiness of the bacon complemented the rich yeasty aromas of the blue cheese.
The noodles are well-seasoned and the lard comes through like Violet Chachki's Season 7 first mini challenge look. No wonder it commands a considerable queue time.
The broth is incredibly flavourful and had a light herbal taste. This is located at Section 21, Soi 21, right along the Main Street.
This cosy little cafe is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Their coffee are one of the better ones I've had. They roast their own beans and carries the famous Panama Geisha.
The cake we had was average at best but nevertheless, it was a well-made cake. Items from the rest of the menu were decently price - between 95 to 300baht.
Roast feels very inviting and the food quality is beyond decent. Would come back here again for their mains.
The meat is tender and well marinated and the charred bits added smokiness to it.
