Biggest con job The Burpple offer was for a set meal for 2 at $98 plus taxes. Offer was to take $40 off. The meal shoved you with too much food so as to justify the price, and when the bill came it was $116+after the Burpple voucher and taxes. Who needs so much food for lunch except for the outlet to force sell you as much food as possible? And you could not even have a 3rd person join in coz they said the Burpple offer or the restaurant disallows it. Please NEVER go there. Don't be scammed like me.

Dark chocolate & French vanilla gelato Got 1-for-1 via Burpple Beyond. We took the double scoop each and they taste delicious. The chocolate is decadent and not too sweet, the french vanilla has a caramel-like sweetness to it that is seriously addictive. Sadly pistachio flavor is off the list for the Beyond offer, else would be fan taser Double scoop gelato $9 nett incl GST

Original Chocolate One of the better chocolate cakes around. The creamy chocolate coating and chocolate filling masks the dryness of the layer cake.

Waffles and ice cream ($21.50) ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) BB discount is only on the waffle, and not the ice cream or toppings. So total cost of 2 waffles came up to $21.50. That said, the waffle is quite delightful, fluffy with a buttery fragrance. But inconsistent, as our second waffle was noticeably denser than the first. Ice cream was mid. Pistachio flavour was very subtle and earl grey was better, but both are overall more sugary than creamy.

Ice Cream Waffle Seemed like a popular place. I can't fault the food but I'm not a fan of mochi waffle so I've mixed feelings.

Yummy fatty pork Perfect balance of fat for flavour and pork. No carbs with this dish. Sauces are on point.

Tender beef cheeks Definitely give this a try. Chunky potato mash and tasty sauce

Best Cheesecake Ever The cheesecake really lives up to their name. It tastes amazing. One of the best cheesecake I have ever had. I also had their burpple 1-for-1 ribeye. It was a great deal and the ribeye had a unique Chao Ta taste

Delicious and cheap Food was delicious, especially for the price. Had the seafood bisque pasta and it came with a generous amount of seafood and the pasta absorbed the bisque flavour delightfully. Their drinks are also great, had their passionfruit drink.

Dinner at Long Black Cafe Excellent service and food. However, portion of food may not be sufficient for some. Restaurant serves early dinner too with nice ambience.

Double Chocolate, Jasmine Tea & Original Hmm these weren't as good as I remember this shop. Chocolate was slightly better.

Burp Kitchen🍔 Went to Burp Kitchen for lunch last week and ordered a Breakfast Rosti and a Beefy Three Cheese Burger ($16 each, lunch set menu with mushroom soup and a drink)😇 Overall ratings 6/10😁 Food was okay but wished the burger came with fries instead of potato chips. Mushroom soup was also a bit too watery for my liking but view from the restaurant was nice! Do not think I will visit again though😅

Hidden buffet gem Free flow beef / chicken / salmon steaks, salads, pasta, freshly squeezed watermelon juice, and even satay at the price point of $50-ish is a steal! 🤩 Surprise surprise~ we enjoyed the chicken satay the most. But sadly, I just found out that this hidden buffet gem, Yummo Chow (at Hotel NuVe Heritage), is permanently closed on 27 Apr 2024. I heard the staff shared that they will re-open after the hotel is done with the renovation works. I shall look forward then. 🫡

Fried Chicken Burger Saving the best for the last, the fried chicken burger was probably the best dish of the night. The grilled chicken thigh was juicy and tender and the bbq mayonnaise sauce was well executed. This is one dish I wouldn't mind being back for. Yummo Chow is currently running a 90 minutes ala carte buffet for less than $40 per pax. It's good value if you consider the variety involved but just expect that there will be hits and misses... Double beef burger Yummo Chow's double cheeseburger was my least favourite dish of the night. At this price tag, I am kinda expecting a fresh beef patty. However, the beef patties looked like those you could have picked up from any grocery store (and tasted like one too). It's really hard to justify paying this price... Yummo Chow is one of those places that could do better. The execution for the dishes were actually decent or above average and their sauces were quite tasty. The main letdown for me was the quality of their ingredients. It's gonna be tough (even with their #BurppleBeyond 1-for-1 deals and affordable buffet promo) because people who visit this area probably can afford to pay and will naturally expect more. I am no restauranteur or F&B guru but it may help if they streamline their extensive menu to focus on certain dishes and put some work into their procurement process. I am rooting for them because I think their chefs are actually decent and their service staff lovely.
