Whisk yourself away to a floral fantasy in this lovely cafe while enjoying their delectable desserts (such as the matcha tart and key lime pie). Their friendly service staff are the icing on the cake of this wonderful dining experience.

Indulge in modern Peranakan food such as laksa lobster linguine, braised pongteh lamb shank, and ngor hiang. It’s truly a feast for the senses.

Loved the hearty Spanish spread from Tapas 24! My faves include their bikini sandwich, puntillitas fritas, and paella de marisco. Do try to get an indoor seat to bask in the bright and beautiful decor while enjoying your meal.

Their JabChae was flavourful, albeit a little pricey for the portion.

Tried these tarts and added them to my dessert go-to list:

1) Cinnamon cherry brandy tart
2) Cinnamon apple tart

Their tarts had distinct flavours and were not cloyingly sweet, looking forward to trying more flavours at the cafe.

Had fond memories of dining at Omote’s flagship outlet at Thomson and celebrated an occasion over lunch at their newly-opened Raffles City outlet. Unfortunately, the signature chirashi don had mushy rice and was too salty this time round. The dining experience was salvaged by the discovery of the black truffle tako karaage which stole the show with its crisp texture and flavourful sauce.

Eyebrow-raising name aside, the fried rice was filled with wok hei goodness and the spiciness (which was customisable) provided a real kick to the dish. The ribeye was surprisingly tender and flavourful too. A must-try dish for fans of fried rice and spicy food.

Always a good time at Pu Tien, with its consistently good dishes and modern decor. Particularly loved the Fujian red mushroom seafood lor mee and deep-fried duck with yam. Didn’t quite enjoy their rendition of oyster omelette as it was a bit too starchy for my liking.

Enjoy a cuppa coffee at this quaint cafe in Queenstown, made all the more cosy with its wood furnishings. Loved both their white cold brew and cafe latte.

Enjoyed the colonial cuisine and loved the ambience of the restaurant. Perfect for gatherings and dates.

Ordered these dishes:

1) Marmite fried chicken wings: Wow these were very flavourful, a pleasant surprise indeed.

2) Crispy Hainanese kurobuta pork chop: Crisp on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The greasiness was mitigated by the refreshing purple cabbage slaw served on the side.

3) Tiger prawn spicy aglio olio: This was a fairly average rendition of the dish, nothing to shout about. Would recommend for you to try their Asian-inspired mains instead.
