Mango shortcake and dark chocolate delice ($6-7.50 per piece) lovely! The mango is fresh and the sponge is light and fluffy. I love the dark chocolate! Full of flavour yet not heavy in texture.
I love this dish. 水煮鱼 great portion for two $16.80 with lots of chye sim, bean sprouts and shredded leek.

I personally think the Sashimi Lunch Set is the most worthwhile. Look at this amount of sashimi, sheer freshness!
This was part of the Sashimi Lunch Set ($38 for salad, sashimi, hot/cold udon and tempura) I saw someone say this was ordinary but I want to correct that injustice! It was a great dish- light batter, crispy and fresh seafood! 8/10!
Unagi lunch set ($38 with salad, truffle chawamushi, salmon/swordfish sashimi, miso soup and unagi don). Freshly grilled though I think it is still a close second to Miz restaurant's
A piece of Foie gras tucked in a giant scallop. ($15) both seared to perfection with a touch of chilli oil, cod roe and crunchy lettuce shreds. Not a big portion but cheap for its quality!
Light, fluffy and very intoxicating (aka alcohol-soaked). Tiramisu at its best (Classico) and I love the brandies cherries version too!
It looks like nothing outside but you step into a bespoke cocktail bar almost like in a Batman movie.
Would anyone have expected this lunch set to be $12 20 years ago? One of the rare benefits of globalization, expect to have really good food at low prices at this lovely shop. Only at lunch time though! Nonetheless this is a great place to de-stress because everyone is super chirpy!
Another value for money dish. I totally dig duck confits and this scored 7.5/10. The homemade sauerkraut was underwhelming but what is there to complain with good mash and melt-in-your-mouth duck fat underneath crispy skin?!
I love the interesting mix. The foie gras is cooked- just nice, not too raw or overcooked. I love the crunch and contrast of furikake (why didn't I think of this?!) against the creaminess of the foie gras. Perfect marriage of two of my favourite foods- goose liver and radish soup! Yum!
