Back here second time cuz first experience was pleasant. The 250g seemed value for money with 1-1. Could choose truffle fries or mashed potato. The steak was more rare than medium rare. Had to do a bit of chewing. Maybe better if they put a sizzling plate. Waited third in Q on a Friday night. Was quite a fast turnover as they opened upstairs. Toilet is not well maintained. May not go back for sometime as standard has dropped by a little. The stretch of shophouses have a wider variety to choose from.

This place is awesome. My usual order is the herbal jelly with mango. The mango is super sweet and the herbal jelly super cooling. With 1-1, I pay only $4.80 for two bowls. Still crowded at 9 plus. The table seating upstairs before placing order can be improved. Went home with a satisfied tummy!

Was told all of their tea and ingredients come from Taiwan except for sugar cane. I asked for 0% and it was really sour, as warned by the service staff. Thankfully with the Aiyu Jelly, the sourness neutralises. $6.20 for 1-1 Large. A good deal!

First time trying and I must say it’s quite pleasant with a little blend of salty-sweet taste. I topped up $0.20 to change into rainbow jelly instead of pearls and 0% sugar for a healthier choice. Total cost using Burpple Beyond 1-1 is $5.40 for large size. I chose one green tea and the other oolong. The green tea is more fragrant. The brown sugar foam wasn’t too sweet. I’d definitely order again. The outlet is not in the mall but by the taxi stand. Because it’s quite out of the way, you don’t have to worry about the long Q. I was in-out within 10 mins.

Wanted to try the extraordinary folded pizza. It was priced at $28 with mushrooms and pork sausages. Was really big and had to pack a portion home. Was tasty, not too dry. The serving of appetiser bread was only one set and was chargeable for the second. Total bill of one pasta, one calzone, one gelato milkshake and wine cost $51.80 with 1-1 Burpple. Indoors was full. We sat outside and ambience was great. Was told by the waitress that they are ending the 1-1 deal with Burpple on 31 March as they are focusing on Entertainer. What a waste!

This little gem at Telok Kurau is an ideal place for furballs. Most will do al fresco dining. We were there cuz of 1-1 deals and realised that we were the only tables without a dog. The servers are young and friendly, serving the dogs with water too. Must try their Nutella shake, not too sweet and comes with a nice Nutella bottle. For tea, you can choose 3 types of blends yourself. For food, we had 4 pasta and 1 bread for 5 pax at $81.80. Their pasta was good! Pictured here is Tom Yum Vongole with generous serving of clams at the right level of spiciness. Seated outside al fresco style is a great way to watch the world go by on a lazy Sunday morning. Will be back, this time with our furkid.

Friendliest staff here. With 1-1, we ordered one prawn and another beef (plus two cokes and miso soup) for $16.80. Between the two, the beef is preferred. Break the onsen egg and have the yolk drizzled on the beef... the taste was heavenly! The rice was good Jap rice and at the side they served with crispy fish skin. The place is small and packed with customers even at 2pm on a weekend. Go support them, they deserve all the attention, as the cafe is way underrated.

Uncle Leong is famous for their crabs or seafood. This time we decided to opt for non-seafood. But I must say their Nescafe Pork Ribs is very tasty! They have Guinness Pork Ribs too. We chose our other 1-1 deal : Crispy Milk Granules Chicken. However was a little disappointed as the granules were not nicely done. No oomph when eating this.

The lamb chops were not on Burpple 1-1, but couldn’t resist eating them. Rocket salad is generous. You can choose what gravy to go with your lamb chops. My second time back and the food here can’t go wrong. Call to book in advance cuz weekend is packed. Weekdays during lunch is still fine.

Read that it’s a fast food chain with only one server and ordering online is encouraged. As we had our orders planned out, and there were few customers, we requested to place order with the server. Total bill for 3 burgers, 1 wrap, 4 drinks and 3 sides were about $82 and we had 25% discount via Burpple. I chose the dry-aged burger (prob the most ex on the menu) medium rare and it was super good! Patty a little on the thinner side but it was yummy! For the drinks at $3, more worth it to choose from fountain instead of the canned.

Glad to have this onboard Burpple. There’s only a small selection of dishes we can choose from. But this alone is good enough for us cuz it’s comfort food!

A small joint who took our reservation at the high table instead of the bar counter. Liked the privacy and attention given. There’s ice cream too. Enjoyed the simple stew, was tasty! During the short one hour there, there are customers coming in/out. Seemed popular although joint is small. Friendly service where chef is also the cashier and server.
