Thin chicken fillet fried to golden perfection. Gets better after dipping into the sweet and sour sauce. Very good accompaniment to rice.
Native of Thai street food. Sweet, sour and spicy fried flat rice noodle. Like many Thai food, the spices are pretty strong, delighting your tastebuds much. I still prefer the original version sold on the streets of Bangkok, but this is pretty good.
A native Javanese dish that comes in a form of warm, hearty soup usually enjoyed with warm rice and accompanied by a variety of sides on skewers. One spoonful of the soup gives a splash of subtly infused sweet and sour taste of the local spices. The shreded chicken and vegetables add to the flavour of the palate. On top of that, the place offers old-time Jakarta eating place, and is very friendly in terms of price. Very recommended.
The chicken is a little sweet, but is pretty tender. Too drenched to my liking. The mashed potato tasted too milky. All in all, pretty okay for lunch.
