Had the US black Angus short ribs slices done medium rare. Tender but still towards the firm side. Truffle could've been stronger as it was far too faint for detection. The onsen egg was perfect.
Tender slices of chicken drizzled with brown butter teriyaki sauce. Savoury but couldn't really taste any garlic at all since am a huge fan of garlic dishes.
The aroma of the truffle oil filled the air when the pizza was place on the table. Lovely thin crispy crust, slightly cheesy with slices of mushroom scattered across. Truffle lovers definitely would enjoy!
Currently a pop up booth at the recent expo food fair. 4 types of oysters available.
Thankful that dessertstory had just brought this Taiwanese dessert to Singapore!!! Was missing it so much as the last time I got to try it was like 5 years back? $3.50 a roll, yam or coconut ice cream. Filled with shavings from the caramelized peanut candy block and coriander that added a unique taste to it.
Addictive rice cakes on a stick. I wasn't expecting that I would fall for such unusual dessert. Cheese which was mildly salty, purple sweet potato and pumpkin which were sweet as all contained paste within. Drizzled with honey and I am blown away!
As the name suggest, shake it up to mix everything well and even. Vibrant colours also increased my appetite for it, not to mention the healthy mix of vegetable and the slightly spicy sauce !
Love the slightly foggy looking ginseng soup that was loaded with tender fall of the bone flesh!
Love this pizza so much! Thin crust, hidden beneath the layer of cheese are slices of juicy tomatoes , topped with ham, mushrooms and pineapple!! Refreshing and not dry!
Order the main and I enjoyed the free flow side dishes, salad bar, soup and drinks as well and the soft serve. Best would be the button mushrooms with mushroom sauce and sweet corn which I drenched with cheese sauce. Onion rings were also yummy! As for the main, I had the chop which was quite spicy.
Location at centrepoint
The hor fun was submerge with savoury gravy that wasn't too salty nor bland. Kway teow texture was slightly chewy. Served with slices of tender pork, sotong and vegetables , really satisfying!
An old school eatery that passed down for 3 generations. Sad news as the owner is retiring by the end of this month. Hokkien flat noodles coated with the thick dark sauce and I was already so full yet felt like eating more. This was how tasty it was.
Probably the last few posts from this place before it closes....
