Omurice with hamburg steak $28
Katsudon and koroge (I don’t know how to spell) with rice $26
Sweet drink $5
Latte macchiato (made using Nescafé dolce gusto machine, 80cents/ capsule) $4
Tomato sauce for omurice was too vinegarish sour
Hamburg steak is kinda salty
The rest is good, portion is generous, staff are friendly
Simple to prepare yet tasty, I guess it's because of the smoked meat. Portion is generous and valued for its price, burple promotion 1 for 1 just $24.90. The staffs and including the chef are very pretty and I will return again to look at them while enjoying the meal!
Udon taste good with chewy but not rubbery texture, gives a refreshing taste with dipping in the soy sauce. Gyudon was nice too but rice is very hard. The set itself is $16.80 (if I’m not wrong) but you are forced to get a drink and dessert as well to enjoy this burpple one for one deal. So my choice was cold udon with Gyudon, hojicha (refillable) $3 and twenty scoops of black sesame ice cream $6.40 while my husband ordered cold udon with katsudon, mochi $4.80 and orange juice $3. Katsudon taste good but the pork is paper thin, I’m not kidding, eating the fried coating basically, however it taste good though. Portion is small, we went takashimaya basement for second round. Nah, not going back again. I rather eat ichiban boshi, playing around same price but stuff myself to the brim with similar greatness of food quality.
Remember to download the Smart Dining apps to be entitled to $5 off your bill. My bill was $32 including charges so I only paid $27 and I earned $2++ shopback. Remember to boost your shopback as a first timer also! Happy eating Happy saving money.
The burpple one for one set worth $25.90 which comes in don x2, salad x2, thin slice of mentaiko tamago x4, miso soup x2. Taste normal. I would rather eat teppei syokudo for a better taste even though having to pay a few more dollars. Note that they don’t serve free green tea or plain water.
Tasted okay. Definitely can not compare to the Tanjong Pagar outlet’s standard, even bugis outlet is better. Staff are unfriendly. Noodles was undercooked. Unlike the two outlets mentioned above, complimentary tea only served when requested. Worth going with burpple beyond, definitely will not go if I were to pay for it at usual price.
Best lamb shank I ever had! I’d like to call it rendang lamb shank instead curried lamb shank.
Everything was perfect except the fantastic four sausage. Not that the sausages were not nice, however personally find it relatively not worth it to have 4 sausages at price of $25.90. Located in a coffee shop. Only downside about the ambience was there were many smoking elderly chilling out.
Cozy and homely setting. Attentive staff. Good variety of food from pasta, pizza to pancake. We ordered truffle cream pasta $15.90 and a pancake with two sausages $12.90. Pasta only had few pieces of bacon. Overpriced in general. Total bill was $20. Not worth it. HDB downstairs western stall can serve better food.
Pricing is affordable however portion rather disappointing for a big eater like myself. The kimchi thingy was around $18 and the finger steak was around $14. My fingers for size.
Takoyaki ball are fully filled with real octopus. No joke.
Chili crab toppings is a LEGITly tasty. Not sure if it’s real crab meat but there is shredded meat in the sauce. Aburi cheese is rather bland. Egg mayo is pretty decent. Cheese bacon wise, hmmm I can’t really detect the presence of it in the balls.
And yes, I’ve tried 4 different flavors at one go. Woahahaha.
Quiet place, nice for chitchatting with friends. Portion of risotto quite little however the seafoods are in decent portion. Pizza was a meh haha
$19.50 for the risotto, FOC for the pizza that worth $18.50.
