We went for a little food hunting today and decided to try this Char Kway Teow place that Alvin discovered one of his routes to Bugis. The uncle plies his trade like a performance, frying the noodles on a open stage. The Char Kway Teow tasted lighter than usual. I guess it was okay return for the small adventure we went on today.
Here is my onglet with shallot confit and French fries. A bit on the salty side but very tender and juicy. I don't really like onions, but I finished every bit of it and the sauce. Will definitely be back to try the other stalls!
Crispy on the outside, soft inside.. Delicious and appetizing!
For a whole chicken, the price is very reasonable. It's quite tasty too.
After frying, not much crayfish meat left.
Gravy is spicy but the meat is fresh and yummy!
