But woah, the definition of umami is right here in this bowl of mixed ingredients - pork liver, minced pork, egg, wolfberries, etc, and not forgetting the main point, fish maw. Soup was flavourful with a subtle sweetness. This plus the qq noodles tossed in chilli and vinegar? Yes! Now I can come here for both the kway chap and bak chor mee!
