Got the hojicha latte (~$6) even though its seems that they are really known for the special blends of coffee beans.
First mouth was awesome as it had a strong hojicha taste to it. But as it had too much ice and very little volume to start with, so I felt that it was diluting too quickly as I sip on it in a span of 15 mins.
Still prefer the JW360 hojicha latte though for overall taste and satisfaction.

So stumbled across this gem at tanjong Pagar when I wanted a little sweet intake.
Their cake selections were very special and made me want to try all of them!! Of course having said that each slice is about ($~9) so choose wisely.
I got the konichiwa hojicha which seemed like one of their flagship flavour and loved it to the last mouth.
It's slightly heavier in texture than a normal Japanese cake if you know what I am saying but oh so satisfying.
Coffee was good and not too sweet thus adding to the overall balance of the meal. Great find!

Tried the Unagi hitsumabushi set (~$18) and was pleasantly surprised. The eel was thick and grilled nicely. Accompanied with sansai (wild vegetables😍), tofu and condiments.
It's not the hitsumabushi that we know and love at manman or uya uya but decent enough for an unagi lover near Telok Ayer.
Shall try their raw fish sets as that looked more popular when I glanced around.
Not a bad place at all.

Got the 1-f-1 ice cream bar. Super good quality chocolate and one of the best places to get your dark chocolate fix. This is featuring the 88% dark chocolate ice cream which taste so good even without the salted caramel sauce. Love it❤️

Got the lobster combo - ~$30 and combo 1(chicken+sotong+scallop) ~$16.
All combos comes with a side of vegetables and rice.
Honestly I really didn't understand the hype and long queue at the outlet other than the generous portions and efficient service.
IN SHORT:
- the rice was mushy
- the ingredients (ie. seafood) were not fresh
- the chicken was hard
- the vegetables were too blanched
- their signature black pepper sauce was meh imo.

Not really worth the drive and honestly not worth the money too. Teppanyaki express is better I think.

Still they do have repeat customers so maybe I went on their "off" day.
