Dense and luxurious gelato with a lingering creamy mouthfeel, pop by this stand in Takashimaya Food Hall and order a double scoop ($8.90, or $6.90 if you want to be modest with a single scoop) of Giandujotto, where the age-old combination of hazelnut and chocolate results in Ferrero Rocher-esque flavours that are absolutely decadent. Pair it with a chocolaty gelato like the bittersweet and chocolaty Cuor di Cacao or, for true blue chocolate connoisseurs, the Azteco, a rich water-based dark chocolate gelato made sans milk. The nutty flavours like Pistachio and Hazelnut are great too. Burpple Tastemaker Sheryl Lyx likes how the latter is nutty without being too sweet.

Burppler goodformood x enjoyed the Piedmont Hazelnut, which "was rich and nutty, and I loved how the Strawberry Straciella contrasted fruity and chocolatey to a nice balance." Chocolate lovers, indulge in a scoop of Gianduiotto Venezuela of chocolate chunks and crunchy nuts in a rich, chocolate gelato.

With a pick-and-grill option available, you'll get to choose your preferred cut at the butchery and have it grilled to your preference for a nominal fee. If you're spoilt for choice, their must-orders include the 100 Days Grain-Fed Sirloin Steak ($24) with creamy mushroom sauce and Free Range Pork Chops ($24), which impressed Burppler A (:. "Pork chops were thick and meaty and they were also juicy, moist and chewy (: Tasted some good char as well! Good enough on its own without the sauce!"

Burppler Tiffany Ang especially enjoyed the Pistachio ($5.50), which she "might even go out and say this is probably one of the best pistachio gelatos in SG" so you know it's worth the travel!

Found in Lot One Food Junction is this stall selling nasi lemak (duh!), but with a twist! Aside from the classic ol' Nasi Lemak + Chicken Wing ($5.50), their Nasi Lemak Sets also feature a bright green lemak rice with a side of fried egg, spicy sambal, crispy anchoviwes & peanuts and cucumber slices. Opt for the Nasi Lemak + Pandan Chicken ($5.50) and Nasi Lemak + Spicy Tomato Chicken ($6) for a hearty lunch.
