12 Places to Eat2Give

#GivingTuesdaySG's Eat2Give movement gives you a great chance to give to the less fortunate this festive season -- by simply eating at some of your favourite spots. On December 2nd 2014, 75 F&B outlets will be raising funds for a non-profit organization of their choice. Visit these 12 places for good food and a good cause! Don't forget to snap before you snack, and hashtag #GivingTuesdaySG.

What's better than spending your Tuesday indulging in one of the best brioche French toasts in town, or tucking into their Toad in the Hole eggs with irresistible bacon jam for lunch? By finishing it all off with a silky smooth coffee of course. On December 2nd, One Man Coffee is doing their part for children with chronic illnesses by generously donating all their sales to Club Rainbow. It's not often you get to do good while brunching, so this is your chance to eat and drink for a fantastic cause. If you live in the area, mark your calendar and have breakfast or brunch here!

For those of you working in the Tanjong Pagar area, all you have to do is order Gyoza King's special gyoza set for $6 to donate to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF). From December 1st, 100% of the proceeds from the special gyoza set will be donated to this great cause. You all know how satisfying these hot, juicy, crispy gyozas can be, so round up your colleagues for lunch here! While you enjoy your meal, know that you'll be helping a child buy theirs at recess.

Gather your friends, this is a good chance for everyone to come together and celebrate this amazing act of giving as the festive season begins. We hear some lucky patrons will also get to try their special #GivingTuesday flavour!

Smack in the heart of Orchard is Seasons Bistro, a casual New American gastropub that serves a seasonally-changing menu. Tuck into dishes like Fish Tacos, Meatloaf and Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake for a relaxing after-work dinner. On December 2nd, Seasons Bistro will be donating 10% of their proceeds to Willing Hearts. For foodies, this is a particularly meaningful charity to contribute to - the Willing Hearts soup kitchen provides 3,000 meals daily to the needy in Singapore. The more you feast, the more Seasons will give, and the more mouths Willing Hearts will be able to feed.

Tuck into a crispy duck confit sitting on a bed of silky mash, or melt-in-your-mouth pork belly with onsen egg. Make your way down to this humble coffeeshop in Bukit Merah Lane 1 if you haven't tried this rather affordable French fare! On December 2nd, Immanuel French Kitchen will be donating to Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home, where needy and disadvantaged children are provided loving, Christian nurture. Simply do your part by eating as much as you can!

If you already love Carpenter & Cook, you'll be happy to know they'll be selling limited edition #GivingTuesday cookies on December 2nd. All proceeds from these cookies will go to the Yellow Ribbon Fund, providing re-integration programs for ex-offenders and social support services for their families. Imagine - all you need to do is buy as many cookies as you can! Give them away as Christmas gifts for your colleagues, or keep them as guilt-free snacks. Go on, eat to give someone a better life!

Need a reason to order a bottle (or two) of sake with your Japanese feast? Here's one - IKYU will be donating all nett sales from their beverage collection to Rainbow Centre and Bone Marrow Donor Programme. Dig into their bara chirashi, a wagyu fillet, and their to-die-for shochu cheesecake for a superb meal. Wash it all down with your choice of sake, and have a meaningful meal with your best friends.

If you enjoy local delights and lazing around in a seriously chilled out spot (with an old-school VW thrown in for good measure), make December 2nd the day you head down to Kombi Rocks in Yio Chu Kang. Tuck into their signature Kailan with Taukee and some homemade Barley, and Kombi Rocks will contribute to Chen Su Lan Methodist Children's Home for disadvantaged kids. It'll be the perfect way to chill your day away, and watch a lovely sunset.

From 12th November, Gyoza King and Tori King outlets will be donating $1 from each sale of their famous Green Tea Cola, but best of all - they're inviting the children of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) to have ramen on #GivingTuesday! To do your part, simply tuck into a piping hot bowl of Tori King ramen with a juicy grilled chicken drumstick (you know you want to), and wash it down with an ice-cold Green Tea Cola. You might even get to dine alongside the very kids you're helping!
