Decked out with aesthetic pink facade, an eye-catching lightbox and outdoor bar sitting, sit down for a cup of their signature Ice Kacang BBT ($6.80) and fruity Berry Cranberry ($6.80) to seek respite from the sweltering heat in Haji Lane.
A cosy place to connect with buddies over drinks and good food, this bistro is formed by the acronym of the words that literally means “Got People Take Care” in colloquial Hokkien – “Wu Lang Jiao Kor”. A restaurant located on level 1 of JW Marriot Hotel Singapore South Beach, keep conversations lively through bold flavours with their Get Social Set ($48++). The set features their signature Mussels Italian Style with Toast and Butter Herb Sauce, along with the Chilli Crab with Homemade Mantou, which had Burppler Maureen Ow singing high praises for the "signature Chilli Crab with homemade mantou that stays piping hot in its stone bowl. The hefty Sri Lankan mud crab revealed generous amounts of sweet flesh that tasted clean and fresh." End off the meal with a sweet ending of Soft Serve with Fried Croissant, Granola and Berries.

Only available during dinner, their 12-Course Omakase ($88) starts off with a cold dish, Salmon and Hamachi Sashimi and 3 courses of Beppu Menkan's delicacies - Grilled Pufferfish, Karrage Prawn and Egg Tofu. Follow it up with Mini Sushi of the Day, 3 courses of Beppu Signature Seafood Item, Kyushu White Chilli Ramen, Meat Dish and ending it off with their Premium Rice Box.
Formerly known as Mr. Fish & Chips in PoMo, this stall has since shifted to a quiet coffeeship hidden amongst HDB flats in Toa Payoh. Prices at $7.80 each, choose between their Lightly Battered Pacific Dory or Crispy Boneless Chicken Steak, accompanying two sides of chips, mash, rice or coleslaw. Burppler Xing Wei Chua recommends his standard order of Tilapia, who was "Glad to say that the fried fish still features a crisp beer-battered exterior; all that with the Tilapia still having its juices locked in and being flaky and sufficiently moist"
