no food no life
beautifully executed set dinner, i loved every dish but my will-come-back-fors are definitely the prawn toast, jumbo prawns, aged kingfish loin and the burnt toast icecream sandwich! can’t wait to come back to try the other dishes, the next table ordered a lobster pao fan (?) and it looked amazing too
This is one of their most popular dishes and rightfully so, meat was fall off the bone tender and very nicely marinated, will definitely be back for this!!
I had the crayfish seafood soup with prawns and grouper, everything was fresh and the soup had a nice light sweetness to it. We decided to order the duck to try too and like, best decision ever. I had a bowl of white rice with my soup but that rice was 90% eaten with the duck, the sauce legit super nice. Reminded me of when my friend was having her confinement, you also feel warm from the inside after having this.
Got a few of their dumplings to try, and once I cut open the Emperor dumpling I HAD to take a pic - look at the amount of ingredients inside!! You know some places only give a little bit of ingredients then the rice a lot right, but you can see it’s not the case here. The quality is good enough that I actually dare to buy some to let my parents try 😂 will definitely be back!
It looks very simple but I swear, 1 bite is all it takes to blow your mind. The two slices of bread on the side are amazingly crispy and it pairs so well with the smooth potato in the pie. 10/10 drinks, food and atmosphere, will definitely be back!
Portions are big enough to share, you can order a few flavors and split it among the group! I recommend garlicky soy.
There’s a reason why it’s on their list of recommended drinks, and it’s definitely a must try!! Mango sticky rice/mango sago vibes, and the brown rice is super chewy - will definitely get it again if I’m in the area!
Great place to visit if you wanna dip your toes in Russian cuisine! Really recommend the combo platter so that you can try out every flavor of dumplings that they offer
Perfect place for a relaxing end to the week, their walk-in wine cellar is not just goals in terms of the aesthetics but also the variety of wine available, and their mains (the Wagyu is perfect) and small plates all paired well with the wine!
It’s a bi-monthly chef special so y’all gotta wait to try this again!! But I really recommend it, it’s one of those dishes where you can’t help but smile once you bite into it - and you may think the flowers are just there for decoration but noooo, it’s not just for the look but for the taste too! And I like how they explained to us about everything that goes onto the plate - did you know that the flowers are locally sourced? Well, you’ll know if you go to Fat Belly and try the dish there yourself :)
Really. Not kidding. I loved the bread and the pork and the sauce and it’s delicious when you eat it all together or when you deconstruct it and eat each component on its own. This is definitely a must try when you visit
really loved my truffle beef bowl but the fried chicken was definitely the highlight for me because it was fried so freaking well and the sauce was a delightful blend of flavor. The chicken came piping hot and the skin was crispy and the meat was still tender and even though I shared this with a friend I felt that was a mistake because I wanted the bowl to myself. So yes, do try :p
