Hi guys I think I just baked the best CNY cookie out of all the cookies thus far!!😍 melt-in-your-mouth bak kwa cookies which are super fragrant and are a perfect blend of sweet & savoury🙆 (which are great cos i don't really like overly sweet cookies) hehe brb in cookie heaven🍪👼

Made black sesame tuiles, which are 'a thin crisp French cookie with a lacy texture, and a traditional curved shape'. They taste wonderful and I can't stop eating them but I don't think I'll ever make them again cos it's way too time consuming😩

Not the most photogenic bowl of food but I made cauliflower fried rice for lunch!!!😄 with fried egg, corn, mushrooms and bak kwa pieces😁 and it really tastes a lot like actual fried rice whoohooo

I like putting vegetables into cakes so I can pretend they are healthy hehe😁😁😁

Chocolate Swiss roll with a chocolate buttercream filling/ first Swiss roll that didn't crack upon rolling whoohoo🎉🎉🎉 #achievementunlocked

Finally got my mini paper cups!!!! Hence CNY bake #3: honey cornflakes clusters👌 #mustarrangefoodsymmetricallybecauseOCD

Last post of the day I promise😂 A tad sick of sweet stuff so made some savoury garlic and herb rolls for mom and dad to take to work tomorrow #dutifuldaughter 😊

Also made some banana whoopie pies, with a generous dollop of cream cheese filling. Would have liked to add peanut butter into the filling but mom is allergic to them😔 / been baking like a maniac these days to get my mind off...matters and it's working very well heh

Today's culinary experiment: 2 ingredient homemade beancurd!!!😊😊😊 and I am very happy to report that this tastes exactly like laoban or whatever and I'm never wasting my money to buy those anymore so there👋

Too lazy to use the oven to bake today so instead made Gula Melaka coconut agar agar!🍮(To use up some leftover coconut milk) quite sad that the layers didn't separate like they were supposed to😢

CNY bake #2: Cashew nut cookies!!!🌰🍪 first time making nut cookies so I'm quite glad these turned out okay🙈

Wholewheat cream cheese bun topped with cherry jelly🍒/ helpppp I think I'm addicted to bread baking (but it's ok since the bread in my house gets finished really fast haha)😨 anyway this combi was so good!!! The tanginess of the cream cheese filling paired with the sweet cherry jelly topping was like 😌🌈☀️
