The broth was rich and comes with a taste of sweetness and savoury and a hint of XO cognac. You may order fish head or fish meat along with it. The fish slices were separated from the broth. I like the thick and chunky meat with nicely flavoured batter. The thick bee hoon was perfectly executed to QQ texture. It would be 💯 if I have added an extra shot of XO 😋

Went all the way to its PJ and uptown branch (each!) but they only opened after 10 or 11am. Sometimes it’s a great challenge to think of a new breakfast place to explore as grandma has to eat by 9am! .

Well, I ended up having this lou shu fun @ Sky Avenue, Genting, which is much further away 🤣

I like the crunchy stuff on top, pretty decent meal and it tastes better than the signature yee tao mai (tried my bro’s and I was like.. nah...). Not sure whether all branches are of the same quality? No?

Sky Avenue has so many eateries which we could find it KL, I miss those days when we had limited choice such as mcd and kfc and some overpriced wan tan mee, and fast food was so awesome back then 😝
